Shigetoshi Gohara is a sound programmer who works for Nintendo EPD Tokyo, mainly on games of the Mario franchise such as Super Mario Galaxy 2, where he also provided arrangement for one song. He was a lead developer for the HD Rumble function in the Nintendo Switch. After his work as audio director on Super Mario Odyssey, he has also been a sound supervisor for the Mario series.
Outside of Nintendo, Gohara is also a professional saxophone player.
