Sky Station Galaxy is one of the seven galaxies featured in World 1 of Super Mario Galaxy 2. It is the first galaxy that the player will visit in the game, and is intended to teach the basics of the game.

• The sign on the back of Yoshi's house in the first mission calls Yoshi just "Yoshi." However, the sign in the prankster comet for this mission calls Yoshi a space dragon.
• The fight with Peewee Piranha is similar to the fight with Dino Piranha in Super Mario Galaxy, as both of them are the first bosses of World 1 and they have a similar attack pattern.
