The Slench is a machine that was created by the Alimbic as a defense mechanism against any possible enemies in the Nintendo DS video game Metroid Prime: Hunters. There are multiple different versions of Slench, with up to four known types. They resemble large eyeballs, and were mainly created to protect important and sacred Alimbic relics. They are programmed to attach itself to the Biodefense Chamber, which in turn gives it power to the energy blasters. When attacking, they'll hover in the air, which will cause its shield to not work (however, later versions will start to roll on the ground, and when doing so their shield will stay). It'll then start to shoot out projectiles with venom or special types of lasers.
