Slot Car Rivals (StreetPass Slot Racing in PAL regions) is a racing game developed by Good-Feel as a part of the StreetPass Mii Plaza. It released in the 5.0 update alongside 4 other games. The player can choose this or Market Crashers as a free game before purchasing the others. In this game, the player controls a slot car around various tracks.

The slot car is controlled by pressing the A button to determine its speed. The other buttons are not necessary. By holding the A button, the slot car will go up to max speed and letting it go will slow the car down. If the player goes too fast on corners, the slot car will fly off the course and crash, having the player's Mii go pick it up and put it back on the course. This doesn't disqualify the racer but, it does take valuable time. Instead, the player has to masterfully slow down on corners and speed up as soon as possible to get the best times on each track.

Players unlock more courses based on completion of other circuits and each circuit's respective missions.

Custom Car

The player can customize their cars in appearance and abilities. The player gets various models with several options including if it has a roof, the paint job and the parts of the car.

After each race, the streetpassed Miis will come together and make the player a booster chip. These booster chips will improve the car's stats for the next race but, once it has been used, it cannot be used again
