Soma Bringer(JP) is a Nintendo DS video game released in 2008 by Nintendo and Monolith Soft. It was among the first games to be released by Monolith Soft after Nintendo purchased them from Namco. The game is a role-playing game released exclusively in Japan.

Gameplay[]

In the game there are only three party members. The battles take place in real time, and have been compared to the SNES classic video game Secret of Mana. The player will make use of all the four face buttons on the Nintendo DS, each one attributed to an action such as attacking with a sword or using magic.

The game received a 32 (8/8/8/8) out of 40 from Famitsu. In its first week, it sold 50,844 copies according to Media Create. By the end of 2008, it sold 107,127.

In the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U, the song Attack played on Coliseum originates from here.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the main protagonist Welt and Idea, a party member appear as Spirits.
