Sort or 'Splode is a type of minigame in Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. It is in Mario's section in the first and Variety in the latter.

Gameplay

This minigame has the player dragging around the Bob-omb Buddies in the red section and the black Bob-ombs in the black section with his/her stylus.

Many Bob-ombs appear in this minigame and the more Bob-ombs put in the right section, the harder the minigame gets with more Bob-ombs coming out more quickly. If the player puts a red colored Bob-omb in the black section or a black Bob-omb in the red section, the other Bob-ombs in that specified section explodes, it is an automatic Game Over. This is also so if a Bob-omb is out the section too long and it explodes. Once forty Bob-ombs are collected, the game tallies the amount of Bob-ombs and blanks out the filled section to amke way for more Bob-ombs.
