Subspace Army

The Subspace Army is an antagonistic group found in the Wii video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They are ruled by the Ancient Minister, and include a majority of minor species such as the Primid, among many others. In the game, they construct a nefarious plan that would cause the entire planet to be engulfed in Subspace, or in other words would attempt to destroy it, by using a large bomb known as a Subspace Bomb.
Their plan is presumably thwarted by a group of Nintendo characters including but not limited to Mario, Link, Samus Aran, and many others.

As aforementioned, the army have many different species that help them fulfill their plan. It's mostly composed of robotic entities. A batch of these robots were confirmed via the official website, and multiple others were shown during E for All. Once the game is finally released if February, we will have a full list of all the species.
The Roader is a robot that's main feature is clearly its one, large wheal which is also his form of transportation. He's one of the quickest enemies in the game, and will plow through his opponents at fast speeds.
The Poppant seems like a rather useless creature for the Subspace Army, as from what we've seen, it does no fighting whatsoever, though will rather spread gifts and candies across the stage. It's possible that these are explosive, though it doesn't appear that they are. Furthermore, they'll always run away when you approach one.
A Bytan is an enemy that seems harmless at first, though will become a serious threat when it starts to multiply. The creatures that multiply from it will not continue multiplying, but only the primary unit will. When that particular one is destroyed, then there will be no more in the area.
A Trowlon is a dangerous creature who'll quickly kill you if you're not cautious. If it gets its arms around you, then it'll send you flying off of the stage immediately, thus killing your character.
The Shaydas are large creatures who are basically composed of sand or fog, that have two head or eyes and two large blades. Its sole weak point is the red portion found in its chest, which when attacked will cause the enemy to eventually die. It is possible that the evil minister made a alliance with other villains. we also see that meta knight teamed up with the ice-climbers so his ship must have been hi-jacked maybe.
The Spaak is a mechanical cloud that rams into you. It turns very black when you attack it.
