Tadpole Pond is a location in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the SNES. It is explored by Mario early on in the adventure, and was originally Mallow's home. The ruler of Tadpole Pond is Frogfucius, who during Mario's arrival was the only actual frog there, with every other citizen being a tadpole. Toadofsky can be found in Melody Bay where he brainstorms for new and exciting songs. Mario can compose his own music by jumping on the tadpoles, though Toadofsky explains that it wasn't what he was looking for.

Mario and Mallow will come here after participating in the river's coin collecting spree. After visiting with Frogfucius, he'll tell Mallow, who previously thought he was a tadpole, that he is in fact not one at all, and that he had only adopted him after finding him abandoned. Following this he'll give Mallow a powerful staff that will improve his stats in battle.
