Actually, Birdo is in fact a species and the Birdo that appears in Super Mario Bros 2 may very well be a different Birdo from the one we know as Yoshi's 'girlfriend'. Should this article be split, having a page for the species and a page for the character (similar to how there are Toad species and a main Toad character)? Mat rix 007 21:24, June 22, 2011 (UTC)
