Tall, Tall Mountain is the 12th stage in Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 and Super Mario 64 DS for the Nintendo DS. It is one of the largest structures in the game, and will have Mario traversing to the top of it in many missions. Many portions of the mountain feature endless drops and no fences - invisible or not, to keep Mario within the safer section of the mountain. The stages features towering mushrooms on all sides of it, which Mario will oftentimes have to jump onto in order to get the star. Here Mario can encounter a monkey who steals his hat, preventing him from going into his other forms. There are six stars in the original and seven stars in the remake.
