Test Driver is a 1978 arcade video game developed by Nintendo for arcades. The game is a driving game that features a steering wheel instead of traditional controls. The game was noted for featuring the top players' scores which were divided by categories including expert, senior, and amateur. The game is not a racing title, but simply a game in which you drive and try not to crash. If you do crash, the crash will be simulated on the screen and accompanied by an explosive sound, which was advertised by Nintendo on their flyer (right).
