Tetsuya Takahashi is one of the leading members at Monolith Soft, being Director of Xenoblade Chronicles as well as Executive Director of Xenoblade Chronicles X. He original started at Nihon Falcom but, late became a member of Square Soft, where he help make the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Trigger. It's also where he started the first Xeno series, Xenogears. When trying to make a sequel but getting shut down by Square, he left and start Monolith Soft with Hirohide Sugiura backing from Namco. Here, he made the Xenosaga games. After Nintendo bought Monolith Soft, the freedom introduced to them had them reconsider what was known at the time as Monado: Beginning of the World and would become Xenoblade Chronicles.
