The Forest of Hope was the second area in Pikmin for the Nintendo GameCube. It became available on the second day after completing the tutorial at The Impact Site. Home to eight of Olimar's missing ship parts, The Forest of Hope was populated by many Bulborbs, the iconic enemies from the Pikmin series. After finding Yellow Pikmin in the area, players could use Bomb Rocks to disable the metallic barriers blocking the important roads through the forest. After Blue Pikmin were acquired from The Forest Navel, the last ship parts in the area could be obtained, although they were guarded by large and dangerous enemies.

One of the dangerous enemies is the snagrets. They travel in packs in this stage, there is three in total, the one in the back is the snagret holding the item. Another dangerous is a big beetle. When it sucks in air, throw a Pikmin in its blowhole. His back will open up, then throw pikmin at it. This stage is swarming with spoted bulborbs, and there babies. This stage has nice and sweet music, just look up Forest of Hope music on YouTube and listen to it. There is a buch of water and Bomb Rocks, used for stone walls,and regular too! It should be noted that this is one of the music tracks in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.
