The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is the first Legend of Zelda game to be released on the Game Boy Color, along with The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.
At the time of release the developers, Flagship, were accused by fans of copying the tactics of the Pokémon games by bringing out 2 similar games at the same time to increase profits. But they soon realized they were wrong after noticing major differences in each game. Oracle of Seasons is more of an action-based game, while Oracle of Ages is more of a puzzle-based game.
Warning: Spoilers Below
The Triforce has teleported Link to Holodrum, a troubled land. He meets a travelling troupe of dancers, the leader, Din, actually being the Oracle of Seasons. Suddenly, an armored behomoth named Onox appears and teleports Din away. The seasons in Holodrum change at a moment's notice now, and it is up to Link to find and upgrade the Rod of Seasons and rescue Din.
