Reception[]

The game was part of The Angry Video Game Nerd's episode on Terminator games. In the review, he criticizes the lack of directions to aim and the game's overall difficulty, comparing the former with the superior game Contra. Also noted are platforms you can miss jumping on and enemies on the ground when you can't shoot at the ground. He also notes that there is a maximum of six lives when it could clearly get up to nine, and that the lives are depleted rapidly.

Trivia[]

  • At one point, there was a Terminator game from Sunsoft set for release in 1989. They lost the license and released the game as Journey to Silius.
