Thexder(JP) is a financially successful video game initially released on NEC PC-8801, though was later released on the Famicom in 1985. The game unfortunately wasn't released on a Nintendo console in America. The merging over to the Famicom was done by Square Co., and was the first game Square published for a Nintendo system.
