Toad's Turnpike as it appears in Mario Kart 64
|Series||Mario Kart series|
|First game||Mario Kart 64|
Mario Kart 64:
Toad's Turnpike (Toad Highway in Japan) is a first track of the Flower Cup. It's like a twilight highway. It is about over 10 thousand meters long (1036m or 1.36 km). It is named after Toad, and it's the first track that belonged to Toad. It is shaped like 8 or two squares attached diagonally. The road is very dark black in color and the sky is red. Item Boxes are always located at the traffic parking or concave edge. It is considered to be one of the easiest, but it's very tough due to the lorries, buses and cars going around. Bumping into them can cause you to float in the air and the victim is seen dropping down.
In this version, the track is very easy because of less traffic, going so slow and they are often mild.
Ideal for interminate or very clever beginners. Traffic go at the same speed as the drivers go.
Only for experts. It's far too difficult.
Incredibly difficult, and even many experts can hit the car. It is considered to be the toughest track in the game if playing this version.
