Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 is a tactical first-person shooting video game made by Ubisoft for Nintendo GameCube. This is the fourth game produced for a Nintendo console from Tom Clancy's franchise, and in common with the rest of the franchise, is dedicated to anti-terrorism by playing as 'Team Rainbow', an elite counter-terrorism group, to defeat terrorists. In this game, the terrorists attack United States and Saudi Arabia.
This game received mildly favourable reception. Whilst praising the game's controls, realistic graphics and its entertainment, what IGN was not pleased with was the lack of online mode, which was one of they key features of the Tom Clancy's franchise, and thus gave the game a score of 6.5./10. GameSpot had also given a similar score of 6.9/10.
