Trouter is an enemy from the Mario series.

Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. 2[]
Trouter first appears in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic and later appears in Super Mario Bros. 2, its western remake.
In the game, Trouter jumps out of waterfalls and can be used as a platform to cross waterfalls. Trouter can be used as a platform in an easier way with a use of the Stopwatch where it becomes immobile and temporarily stays in midair. Also, Trouter can injure the player if touched from the side. Like many other enemies, Trouter can be defeated by being thrown at another enemy or down an abyss.
