Xander Mobus (born July 8, 1992) is an American voice actor who primarily specializes in English dubs of various anime and video games. He is perhaps best known for his voice roles in Nintendo as the announcer, and the characters Master Hand & Crazy Hand in the fighting games Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as being the English voice for Joker, the main player protagonist of the Atlus role-playing game Persona 5. He has additionally reprised the latter role in various media associated with the game and lent his voice to the character upon his inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a Downloadable content (DLC) character in the Fighters Pass Vol. 1 expansion pack.
Mobus was already a huge fan of the Super Smash Bros. series prior to being the voice of the Announcer (and later Joker in Ultimate).
In an interview about his role as Persona 5's Joker, he mentions that he was a huge fan of Persona 4.
Mobus voice acted various comedic requests through social media during this period, such as singing the Pokémon Theme in the Super Smash Bros. announcer's voice.[1]
