Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Story is a stage from Super Smash Bros. Melee, based on the video game Yoshi's Story, much like the prequel's stage. It is among three of the Yoshi themed stages featured in the video game, and thus is home to Yoshi. It takes place somewhere in Yoshi's Island as the elongated title (Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Story) confirms. This is a very basic stage that is allowed in tournaments. It features one primary platform and three pass through ones above it. Occasionally Shy Guys will fly past the stage, while a cloud that players can land on will appear on the sides. A Pak E. Derm can be seen in the background, though serves no purpose.
